The Queen of Hearts' daughter, Red (Kylie Cantrall), and Cinderella's daughter, Chloe (Malia Baker), are about to learn that there are consequences when you alter the fabric of time. And they only have themselves to blame for the chaos heading their way in Descendants: Wicked Wonderland.
The first look at the sequel to Descendants: The Rise of Red is finally here, and the teaser trailer reveals that Red and Chloe have accidentally created the newest villain terrorizing Wonderland.
The fifth musical movie in Disney's popular franchise about the next generation of Villain Kids picks up immediately after the cliffhanger ending of the last one. The new chapter explores what "happily ever after" really means for Red and Chloe following their time-traveling adventures into their parents' shared history.
Set primarily in present-day Wonderland, the new movie begins with Red and Chloe hiding the time-traveling pocket watch inside the Royal Vault, believing that no one else will find it. But unbeknownst to them, Maddox Hatter (Leonardo Nam) is now a ruthless villain determined to find the magical watch and use it to bend time and the fate of Wonderland to his will.
Also returning for the fifth movie musical are Melanie Paxson as Fairy Godmother, Brandy as Cinderella, Paolo Montalban as King Charming, and Rita Ora as the Queen of Hearts. Paxson's casting makes her the only actor to appear in all five Descendants movies.
New cast members include Liamani Segura as Pink, Alexandro Byrd as Luis Madrigal, Brendon Tremblay as Max Hatter, Kiara Romero as Hazel Hook, Joel Oulette as Robbie Hood, Zavien Garrett as Felix Facilier, Ryan McEwen as Squirmy Smee, and Dayton Paradis as Squeaky Smee.

Descendants: The Rise of Red seemed to tie up all loose ends... until the very final moment, which teased more trouble brewing. After Red and Chloe were shocked to realize they had actually been sent back to the time when their parents were students at Auradon Prep, they met the teen versions of Cinderella, Charming, Queen of Hearts (who went by Bridget back then), and many other iconic Disney characters. There, they were able to figure out the moment that turned Bridget into the cold Queen of Hearts, clearing the way for her to have a good, totally not traumatic time at the Castlecoming dance.
While Red was still worried that her mother would be a cold, ruthless villain when they returned to the present, she was delighted to discover the Queen of Hearts was now a loving, joyful ruler and mother, and she was no longer threatening to behead Cinderella. Red and Chloe changed history and saved their mothers, and all of Auradon Prep had a dance party to celebrate. But then Uma (China Anne McClain) warned in a voiceover that even though everyone got what they wanted, "getting what you want can be dangerous... especially when you mess with the fabric of time."

"You didn't think that was the end of the story, did you?" Uma said, her ominous laugh ending the movie.
Descendants: Wicked Wonderland will premiere on Disney+ and Disney Channel this summer.
